reconstitution

How do I calculate the number of doses available from a reconstituted vial?

Divide total peptide amount by single dose amount. Example: 10mg vial with 500mcg (0.5mg) doses yields 20 doses (10mg ÷ 0.5mg = 20). Account for approximately 5-10% waste from dead space in vial and syringe, reducing practical yield to 18-19 doses. USP standards account for expected pharmaceutical waste in multi-dose preparations.
